I have published a number of nonfiction picture books under the pen name "Ann Owen" with Picture Window Books. On the song books I am listed as "Ann Owen, Editor." I chose this designation instead of "author" because, obviously, I didn' t write the text. I did, however, choose which songs to include in the series as well as select which version of each song to include. I also wrote the back matter for each book. |
